You may want to break free from the boring routines but you are forced to face your responsibilities. You may have hard situations with authority that demand certain things from you and you reject them which leads you to separation and isolation. The best way to handle this aspect is by doing the hard work with patience and determination. Put your energies into learning a new skill or something of interest since it will require concentration and thinking on your part.

The second Astro Highlight of the week is on Friday, August 6, 2021, when the Sun in Leo square Uranus in Taurus. This energy is a breakup in a relationship or break down in a car or technology. I wouldn’t be surprised if we hear of news of people breaking up or getting a divorce or of a service malfunctioning. This energy makes you want to break free from boring or restrictive situations. Acting suddenly or rash can lead to accidents. Be careful. The best way to positively use this energy is by working out or being open to change and flexible or breaking free from bad habits and addictions.

The New Moon takes place in the creative sign of Leo at 16°14′ at 9:49 am eastern time. This new moon comes with 2 aspects: Sun in Leo conjunct Moon in Leo and New Moon in Leo square Uranus in Taurus.
What is Lion’s Gate Portal?
Lion’s Gate Portal is an opening of a portal (window) between the realms: physical, spiritual, and other dimensions. The opening starts on July 28 when the brightest blue star “Sirius” becomes visible in the sky, but the actual activation date is on August 8, 2021.
Sirius Star.
Sirius is the brightest star in the sky, and has played an important role in the development of astronomy. It is known as the dog star. Today, Sirius is currently found around 14° from the constellation of Cancer.It is a star related to Jupiter and Mars. A person with personal planets, specifically Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Venus, conjuncting Sirius, makes the person passionate, faithful, and dedicated. The person can receive recognition, honor and have great success (all Jupiter qualities). However, on the negative side, it can make the person very aggressive (Mars qualities). New Moon Ritual.
If you plan on doing a ritual during the new moon you will need the following items: candle (yellow or orange), paper, pencil, flower (Sunflowers or yellow flowers) incense (juniper, rosemary or ginger):
1. Place the flowers of your choice on the table.
2. Light a candle and your incenses.
4. Start your 20 minute meditation/ visualization by staring into the candle or sit in front of a candle.
5. After meditation/ visualization, grab a pencil and paper and make a list of your intentions. Make sure you are writing it in the present tense and like you already have it. For example, “I am creative”; “I am living my best life”; and “I attract love in my life.”
6. After writing out your intentions, fold your intentions (fold outward), and place it underneath the flowers on the table. On the full moon you will burn the list.
7. Close your session with gratitude.
